Today I came to the students with a very simple idea, "How do we use the gifts God gave us to help others?". The response was amazing. Students discussed numerous ideas how they can use their gifts and talents to help other aid to those affected in the Philippines. This blog is one of their ideas.
The goal of this blog is not entirely clear yet; but the purpose and passions behind it are strong and pure. This will be an organic blog focused around the students leadership and work.
After just one recess the students decided on a blog and bracelets. The bracelets may not be the most beautiful piece of jewelry, but they will be a symbol of hope, commitment and passion. In was inspiring to see how many students came out and sacrificed there time to help aid in relief measures for the Philippines.
Please check back frequently and in this year of Hope, keep in your prayers the millions of people in the Philippines that tomorrow will be a brighter day.
